Built by Scientists, for Scientists
Who we are
Scientists building better science — through better peer review.
Founded in 2024 by researchers, ReviewPRO was born out of disappointment with the peer review process.
ReviewPRO is an independent platform created by researchers who have experienced the peer review process from all sides — as authors, reviewers, and editors. Frustrated by long delays, lack of recognition, and opaque decisions, we decided to redesign peer review from the ground up.
We believe reviewers deserve to be valued. We believe technology should serve transparency and efficiency. And we believe that when peer review works, science wins.
By researchers, for researchers
Our platform is shaped by firsthand experience in academia and publishing — we know what works and what doesn’t.
Ethics meets innovation
We combine AI tools with human judgment to ensure fast, fair, and high-quality reviews that respect academic standards.
Community-centered
We are building a global network of trusted reviewers, where recognition, reward, and collaboration are central values.
Our mission
At ReviewPRO, our purpose is clear: elevating science through a new culture of peer review.
We aspire to create a community of trusted reviewers who are recognized, rewarded, and empowered to uphold the highest standards in scientific publishing.
Our mission is to build a trusted global community of reviewers who uphold the highest standards in scientific publishing. We aim to make peer review fairer, faster, and more fulfilling — not only by recognizing the vital role of reviewers, but by empowering them with the tools, training, and rewards they deserve.
Through ReviewPRO, we bridge the gap between journals and reviewers, promoting a collaborative system where scientific knowledge is critically evaluated, openly acknowledged, and constantly improved.
“We created ReviewPRO to fix what we had suffered ourselves: a peer review system that too often ignores its most important contributors — the reviewers.”
Luca Narduzzi, CEO& founder
Our Leadership
PhD. Luca Narduzzi
Founder & CEO
Dr. Luca Narduzzi is an experienced researcher with over 12 years of academic work across public and private institutions worldwide. Specializing in metabolism and metabolomics, he has authored more than 20 scientific articles and has served as a peer reviewer for journals ranging from top-tier to niche publications. His deep engagement with academic publishing — as an author, reviewer, and editor — has given him a nuanced understanding of the systemic challenges within peer review. In 2024, he founded ReviewPRO to advocate for a fairer, more efficient scientific publishing model.
