About
What's broken in peer review?
The editors nightmare:
The increasing number of submissions is surpassing the capacity of the current peer-review system.
However, ReviewPRO exists to fix this.
Next-gen Peer review is a new way of assessing the quality of scientific publications while uplifting the interests of all the stakeholders.
Delays and inefficiency
Articles often wait months for a decision due to reviewer scarcity.
Lack of transparency
The process is slow and opaque.
No reward for reviewers
Most reviewers work for free, with no compensation nor valuable recognition for their time and expertise.
Bias and inconsistency
Editorial favoritism and vague criteria lead to unequal treatment of submissions.
How ReviewPRO works
01
Journal submits request
Editors send article review requests via ReviewPRO's secure portal.
02
AI-assisted reviewer match
Our system identifies the best-qualified reviewers based on expertise, availability and past performance.
03
Review completed and rated
Reviewers deliver structured, high-quality reports. Journals and authors can rate the feedback.
04
Reviewer rewarded
Reviewers are compensated — with money, credits or visibility — and tracked through a public rating system.
Built by scientists, for scientists.
We’ve experienced the flaws of peer review first-hand — that’s why we created ReviewPRO: to bring fairness, speed, and transparency back to science.
"After years of frustration as author, reviewer, and editor, I realized that the peer review system needed more than reform — it needed reinvention. ReviewPRO was born out of a simple idea: to value the people who validate science, and to make the process fair, fast, and pleasant for everyone."

What is ReviewPRO?
ReviewPRO is a third-party peer review platform that connects scientific journals with expert reviewers. We enhance the review process through AI-powered reviewer matching, AI-assisted evaluations, and post-review quality assessment. And we reward the precious work of the reviewers.
How do journals benefit from using ReviewPRO?
Journals gain access to a large, qualified pool of reviewers, faster turnaround times, transparent processes, and high-quality structured review reports. We also reduce editorial bias and improve reviewer accountability. A faster and fairer process means better journals that aim to climb the journal ranking and point towards excellence.
How are reviewers selected?
Our AI-assisted system suggests reviewers based on field of expertise, availability, past performance, preferences and feedback ratings. Editors can confirm or customize selections to ensure the best match.
Do reviewers get paid?
Yes. ReviewPRO offers multiple reward models to choose among: monetary compensation, research credits, or crypto tokens. Furthermore, recognition of reviewer efforts is secured through a public reviewer rating system.
Does ReviewPRO use AI to write reviews?
We use AI to assist in the process—suggesting reviewers, checking structure, study design, and supporting quality control—but all the final decision and scientific judgments are made and checked by human experts.
How do you ensure the quality of reviews?
We use structured review templates, reviewer scoring systems, and feedback loops between editors, authors, and reviewers. AI flags incomplete or poor-quality submissions for additional checks.
Is ReviewPRO replacing traditional peer review?
We’re enhancing it. ReviewPRO aims to establish a Next-gen scientific review alongside existing editorial systems to make peer review faster, fairer, and more transparent—without compromising scientific integrity.
Is there a cost for journals?
Yes, but pricing is flexible. We offer custom packages based on submission volume and workflow needs. Our service reduces hidden costs by improving efficiency and lowering rejection delays.
Can authors see the reviews?
That depends on the journal. By default, reviews are confidential, but journals can choose to adopt an open peer review model if they wish. reviewPRO will adapt to the needs of the journals.
